Fashion Photography
Fashion photography is something I am very much interested in. I one day hope to be an established and successful fashion photographer, my main goal within fashion photography is to have my work published in major magazines around the world. Model management is something that I find interest in, it is directly linked with fashion photography an I one day hope to manage fashion models and maybe even set up my very own model management company. =]The photo above was taken by myself a few months back, the outfit the model is wearing was also choreographed by myself. I tried to crate an image that is striking at the same time beautiful. I wanted to emphasize the use of colour so I chose to shoot with a model with a pale skin tone, I dressed her upper body in dark clothing to go against her skin tone an also added a bright red scarf to fill the eye of the viewer. On the set of the shoot I had a single soft box with light coming from the top right hand corner of the frame, I chose to position the light there to crate a slight shadow on the left half of the shot. Although the photo is based on colour it also has a dark side to it which I feel add a fashion element to it.
